Kayla joins her father and takes a tour of a "live" TV studio interview. Kayla enjoyed an opportunity to meet Sheila Harrison host of "The CEO Show" and publisher of "The Houston Business Guide".

"The CEO Show" airs every Wed. on Phonoscope Business Channel 11 (the most cabled network in downtown Houston) at 10AM CST. You can catch it on-line at www.PhonoScope.com (click business channel).

She also had a chance to meet the guests' 16 year old daughter Jessica who was also there to cheer her mom. Mrs. MacNaughton King recently opened a new business that was featured on the show.

The day before, Kayla was interviewed at a local Starbucks for her blog. As part of her continuing education in media. She was able to see what a live TV broadcast interview was like. She though it was "cool".

An Interview with Kayla Renee on Child Acting and Entrepreneurship

Kayla takes time for an interview to discuss what it is like to be a child actress and entrepreneur. She enjoyed writing her own questions and practicing for this unscripted video. She said it "Rocked!"

School is Out - Summer Will Rock!

Kayla is beginning her journey into auditions for commercial projects. She recently auditioned for a Walmart print ad and an Academy TV commercial. Here is her blog post for her readers today:

Movie Recommendation: Whale Rider

Kayla enjoyed this movie and now loves movies about whales. A young girl becomes the heir to the throne in a male dominated culture. Journey with her as she steps into the role of her leadership calling. Great ocean scenes, challenging courage, and a redemptive story of healing. Watch this movie with your children.

Book Recommendation: Penny Lee and Her TV

Kayla enjoyed this book. Penny Lee loves to watch TV and her dog doesn't want her to watch TV because Penny Lee doesn't pay attention to it. When the TV goes out, the dog is happy for the extra attention. Lesson learned, it is better to go outside and play then watch TV all day.

Kayla Now Represented by Pastorini-Bosby Talent Agency

Emerging entrepreneur and child actress, Kayla Renee Valadez has signed with Pastorini-Bosby Talent. Kayla's company Kayla Ventures promotes the possibilities of children via her blog linked from her website. Kayla has been cast in a supporting role for the feature film "El Nacional" (currently in pre-production) prior to signing with the agency. Given the progress of her acting career, Kayla is very happy to have a top talent agency representing her interests.
