Kayla goes on location at Moody Gardens (Galveston, TX) with her movie brothers and sisters (The Martinez's), for the feature film "El Nacional", directed by Baldemar Rodriguez of Adelante Productions. This movie is currently in pre-production, shooting in Galveston, Houston, San Antonio, and the Rio Grande Valley. From left to right Carlitos (Mark age 3), Monica (Kayla in pink), Nanna (Daniella), Angelica (Shaina Sandoval - center), Alex (Jeremy Becerra - left of center), and David (Baldemar Rodriguez). The crew had fun meeting their new brothers and sisters and getting to know each other. The screenplay is a drama dealing with immigration issues and a family who has to make tough choices in order to stay together as a family. See other photos here: ("El Nacional")

I am very proud of my granddaughter, Kayla in "working hard" to become an actress in "El Nacional". When Kayla was 2 1/2 years old, she always wanted to act and play various characters with family members. She is a very energetic, adorable, caring, and beautiful child with a vivid memory.
