Kayla attends an "autograph signing" with fellow actress Daniella (Irasema Martinez) at a promotional event this weekend. Director Baldemar Rodriguez promoted the movie in anticipation of summer screenings planned for 2008. This feature film begins shooting in February 2008, with a planned showing at Sundance in 2009 and other key festivals.

Kayla goes on location at Moody Gardens (Galveston, TX) with her movie brothers and sisters (The Martinez's), for the feature film "El Nacional", directed by Baldemar Rodriguez of Adelante Productions. This movie is currently in pre-production, shooting in Galveston, Houston, San Antonio, and the Rio Grande Valley.
